Click OK to retry" (doesn't matter if I use both or only one monitor).

I'd much prefer to play in fullscreen mode, so I'd appreciate any help with this.

Display and set Direct Renderer=gdi Video memory size = 1024 That shoud do it, i was playing for 4 h and it was ok.

There is only one thing i need, now there are some graphic artefacts expecially where there are light effects and i need to solve them, anybody knows how?

Another thing is that gdi makes the graphics slower, any ideas?

i found the solution on the D3 page on wine HQ ( Manager.php? i App Id=13484&i Version Id=25953&i Thread Id=76674 Thanks again for the great job you guys are doing in POL. I use POL for the first time and it works good with your description. Got the game installed, but ran into another problem.

D3 was installed started and after the comand for 12.04 the login works also. I tried to run it and it gave me an error about graphics card not being updated.

That litle window showing loging progress isn't popping up either. Thank you guys so much for making this wonderful software : D There is only one small issue on my machine : the Blizzard installer completes and lets me play, but the Play On Linux wizard stays stuck on "Waiting for Diablo III to be installed". With best regards Patrik System: Ubuntu 12.04 Radeon HD 6770 installed Catalyst 12.04 from AMD site. I'm having problems running Mumble and Diablo 3 at the same time. Start Play On Linux and Diablo 3, get to the login screen, type in credentials, hit login everything hard freezes up. I'm having a similar problem to kerigano (i think). Then when i click "play", what should be the splash screen shows up in the middle of the screen, except it's just a big translucent square with a shadow around the edges in the center of my screen, then an error reporting dialog pops up that wants to send an error report to blizzard...I was using the playonlinux and just followed the instructions and when I try to launch it now I get the "click to retry reating a D3D device thing". I can still hear audio from Mumble and even the game audio, but I can't switch to a terminal to kill Play On Linux. see to see series of screenshots ubuntu 12.04 32-bit cpu: Intel® Core™ i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz × 4 graphics: Intel® Sandybridge Mobile x86/MMX/SSE2 I'm having the same problem as patrik and shelbydz. From what I have understood, the freezing is related to the mesa driver, the graphics are more than a bit disorganized with D3, and there are too many calls comming at once. When I close the game POL is still on installing and says “Waiting for D3 to be installed” but it never finish the installing process so I have no launcher icon or anything. So I looked for my graphics drivers, ATI Radeon HS 4650 Laptop, on Fedora 16 32-bit, and installed them. Either way, ran Diablo 3, pressed Play, and the game disappeared completely.Anyone knows why I keep getting the dialog box to patch my game? Go online and Download the FULL Game Client (i wasn't able to install from DVD) 5. :)the problem is just, that when i get to the install, it gets stuck at 1% and i get the following message: if your installation disc has been rejected, please reinsert it. if not, or if you keep seeing this error, please log in to and install Diablo III digitally. Nvidia 425m (hybrid card with bumblebee installed). When I start playonlinux from the conlose, highlight Diablo 3 then hit run, nothing happens. How do I get some log or some debug info to be more helpful?! Ovisan: I have the exact same problem with my desktop.
